More than 100 beneficiaries receive livelihood assistance

CITY of San Fernando Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago personally awarded on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 the Localized Livelihood Assistance Grant (LAG) to 111 Fernandino beneficiaries.

Santiago, thru the City Social and Welfare Development Office, launched the project in October 2020 to assist small-scale informal businesses from the 35 villages for their immediate rehabilitation and recovery from the socio-economic impact of Covid-19.

LAG beneficiaries, which include informal sectors, urban poor, Local Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) members, solo parents, and other Fernandinos with special cases, received P5,000 worth of livelihood assistance.

CSWD Officer Aileen Villanueva encouraged the beneficiaries to work hard and offered partnership to the beneficiaries for future projects of the City.

Kung mayroon kayong food business pwede kaming makipag-partner sa inyo for our supplemental feeding project.

CSWDO will continue to monitor the beneficiaries and provide further entrepreneurial seminars and training to sustain their businesses. (PR)
