ALMOST P200,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by the Bacolod City Police Office in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Barangays 2 and Villamonte on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Steve Bais, 29, of Purok Isla at Barangay Villamonte was arrested at his residence after he reportedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police-poseur buyer around 3:15 p.m.

Two sachets of illegal drugs valued at P38,000 and weighing five grams were seized from Bais’ possession after his arrest, the police said.

Also recovered from Bais, who is considered as a high-value target, were a .38 caliber revolver without a serial number, several bullets and a bladed weapon, the police also said.

Early Wednesday, Frederick Dumalaoco alias "Boyet,” 50, of Purok Sigay in Barangay 2 and his neighbor Wilfred Languido alias "Liblib,” 26, were also nabbed in a buy-bust operation past 1 p.m.

They were arrested in the barangay after one of them transacted with a police poseur buyer.

Confiscated from them were eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 23 grams and valued at P156,400.
