THE City Health Office recorded 14 new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro, bringing the cumulative caseload to 20,363.
Of the 14 new confirmed cases, six were local index cases, one was a close contact of a previously confirmed case, one local authorized person outside residence (Apor), and six were persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).
Cagayan de Oro also recorded a drop in the number of active cases, which is at 275. Of the figure, 71 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 203 were outpatients and one ROF/LSI.
The number of coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered" increased after the city registered 64 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,242.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city reached 846.
