THE cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro has reached 20,369 after six more residents tested positive for the virus.
According to the City Health Office, of the six new local cases, three were local index cases, one was a local authorized person outside residence, one person deprived of liberty, and one mortality.
Cagayan de Oro now has 266 active cases, 68 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 197 were outpatients, and one returning overseas Filipino worker or locally stranded individual.
The city also registered 14 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,256.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has now reached 847.
