Barangay Lumbia now holds most active cases in Oro at 41 cases

BARANGAY Lumbia is now the village with the most active cases in Cagayan de Oro as of November 18, 2021, recording a total of 41 active cases.

The cumulative number of active cases in the city has gone down to 266, of which 68 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 197 were outpatients and one ROF/LSI.

According to the report of the City Health Office, following Barangay Lumbia are Barangays Carmen, recording 30 active cases; Canitoan with 20 cases; Iponan with 16 cases; Balulang with 16 cases; Bulua with 16; Macasandig with 13 cases; Bugo with 13 cases; Gusa with 10 cases; Camaman-an with nine cases; Tablon with eight cases; Patag with seven cases; Indahag with six cases; Agusan with six cases; Kauswagan with six cases; and Lapasan with six cases.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro as of November 18 was 670,967, of which 389,691 received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines and 281,276 were fully vaccinated.

According to the data, of the 670,967 vaccinated individuals, 57,635 were frontline healthcare workers (A1 group), 69,103 were senior citizens (A2 group), 134,024 were persons with comorbidities (A3 group), 313,999 were essential frontline workers, 31,529 were from the A5 priority group, 43,088 were from the ROAP group, and 21,589 were from pedia A3 and ROPP groups.
