BATAAN Governor Albert Garcia has lauded the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar heritage destination in Bagac town for recently bagging the 2021 Historic Hotels Awards of Excellence.
Bataan's Las Casas was adjudged by the Historic Hotel Worldwide as the Best Historic Hotel in Asia and the Pacific.
Garcia said Las Casas is one of the 300 world-class hotels and resorts from different countries that were recognized by the Historic Hotel Worldwide.
The governor added that Las Casas emerged as the winner among the six nominees in Asia.
"Dahil dito, taos puso po nating binabati at pinasasalamatan ang pamunuan ng Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar sa pangunguna ni Ginoong Jose 'Jerry' Acuzar sa kanilang patuloy na pagsusumikap na mapanatili at mapangalagaan ang kasaysayan ng ating lahi, ang ating kultura partikular na ang arkitektura ng mga sinaunang bahay at gusali para sa mga susunod na henerasyon," Garcia said.
