THE Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (Penro) has acquired motorcycles to beef up the law enforcement capability of its four Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (Cenros).

Rosevirico Tan, Department of Environment and Natural Resources regional information officer, said Sunday, November 21, that the motorcycles were turned over last week to Cenro-Piñan, Cenro-Manukan, Cenro-Liloy and Cenro-Siocon.

Tan said Zamboanga del Norte Penro Chief Salahuddin Kaing led the turnover of motorcycles and was witnessed by the Cenro chiefs and selected personnel of the four agencies.

He said the procurement of the motorcycles aligned with the work and financial plan for calendar year 2021.

He added that the work and financial plan are aimed to be used for the intensified forest protection and law enforcement activities of the Cenros within the province of Zamboanga del Norte. (SunStar Zamboanga)
