IN A bid to further boost the vaccination drive in Candaba town, the Municipal Government is set to bring jabbing sites to every barangay.

Mayor Rene Maglanque said each barangay will be given a whole day of schedule to inoculate their residents who have not received their Covid-19 vaccine yet.

The schedule of barangay vaccination drive will depend on the availability of vaccines, but Maglanque assured that all villages will be visited.

Residents will likewise be advised at least a day before through the local government's official Facebook page or their respective barangay health workers.

While the barangay barangay vaccination drive is ongoing, Maglanque said the other jabbing sites will remain operational to cater to residents of other barangays.

Aside from the vaccination team itself, Maglanque said a bus will also be deployed to fetch residents, especially persons with disability, from their own houses.

He said the local government is going the extra mile to ensure that all eligible residents will be inoculated to protect them from the virus.

Aside from the barangay vaccination drive, the local government has already implemented various forms of inoculation, including drive-thru and walk-in.

It also opened two additional jabbing sites in Barangays Salapungan and Bahay Pare to cater to residents of Kapampangan and Tagalog regions, respectively.

Based on its recent data, at least 55 percent of the town's target population has already received their first dose of vaccine, while some 35 percent are already fully vaccinated.
