Pilar, Camotes starts pediatric Covid-19 vaccination program
ABOUT 200 children were vaccinated during the launch of the pediatric Covid-19 vaccination program in Pilar, Camotes, Cebu on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021.
The vaccination drive was conducted at the Pilar gymnasium in Barangay Upper Poblacion, under the leadership of Dr. Camelle Mae Celis and together with the staff of the Pilar rural health unit, the Department of Health-Human Resources for Health and the barangay health workers.
No adverse effects were reported on the first day of the vaccination program where children aged 12 to 17 were given Moderna vaccine shots.
The pediatric Covid-19 vaccination program in Pilar is scheduled every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, vaccination of adults is ongoing every Thursday and Friday. (PR / CCP)
