ANG mga civil society group nga The Freedom from Debt Coalition-Cebu, Philippine Movement for Climate Justice-Cebu ug Sanlakas nanawagan sa electric utility firm nga Visayan Electric nga i-refund ang kapin sa P7 bilyones ngadto sa mga konsumidor niini.
Sa usa ka press conference, nanawagan ang mga grupo nga i-refund ang kapin sa P7 bilyones nga "utang" sa electric consumers sulod sa Visayan Electric franchise area.
“The P7B refund comes from what the groups call “illegal collections” of capital recovery fees by VECO for the operation of its power generator - the Cebu Private Power Corporation (CPPC),” matod sa press briefer sa mga grupo.
