Goho: Absurdness of life

Goho: Absurdness of life

LIFE can seemingly be ironic and humorous. Existence can be quite bizarre with all the unusual occurrences that come our way and there is good reason to be highly cynical and skeptical of the people surrounding us.

There is sound reason to be fearful and depressed given the futility of the cyclical routines. A cut-throat survival mechanism dominates every facet, and it is a cruel, merciless, and competitive environment. It can be a seemingly pointless ordeal as we waste away with the swiftness of the times.

One can but simply endure such ordeals of the many pains and sufferings. The paradigms constantly shift, and there are fluctuations in such a mysterious and absurd journey. Even with the instilled innate moral frameworks, and natural resilient and progressive inclinations, there are proclivities towards destructivity and chaos rooted in deep-seated internal depravities.

There are manifestations of evil in our hearts and carnal desires and one can but sense our overwhelming loneliness and fragilities. Selfish beings chasing after various agendas with a lack of empathy and sincerity all the more contributing to the worsening state of the world and the underlying superficialities and stubbornness of man.

As long as we are conscious and alive, it will be an uphill battle. Relationships are mostly facades, egos overrule, self-directed ambitions prevail, gaps and cracks are apparent even in the closest of ties. There are voids to constantly fill to make it seemingly fulfilling and worthwhile.

While there is no alternative but to withstand all the incoming tribulations, and continuously battle through the mysterious journey of seeking more meaning and finding more purpose.

There are blatant limits to what the world offers, and it may be a ground for a much higher world given all the profound and bittersweet complexities and imperfections, unless it simply be a meager and random journey towards meaninglessness and nothingness.
