P300,000 ‘shabu’ seized in San Fernando

MEMBERS of the City of San Fernando police, together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), nabbed two drug suspects in a drug bust in Quebiawan village over the weekend.

The suspects were identified as Jonald Ramos, 35, and Charlot Biliwang, 24.

Ramos, who is the subject of the anti-illegal drug operation, is considered a high value target based on the parameters set by PDEA, while Biliwang is suspected drug user.

Confiscated from the suspects' possession were 113 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “shabu” weighing 60 grams, with an estimated market value of P300,000.

Ramos and Biliwang are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act.

The selling of shabu is a non-bailable offense based on the said the law.
