ILOILO City Public Employment Service Office (Peso) is conducting a two-day online job fair with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies on November 25 and 26.
As an economic recovery activity due to restrictions of Covid-19 pandemic, Peso partnered with at least 12 BPO firms that will be hiring some 500 agents.
Applicants should send their resume via email pesoiloilocity.jobfair@gmail.com.
Mayor Jerry Treñas thanked BPOs for providing more jobs to the people, as well as for being active partners of the City Government in various developmental endeavors.
“This time, we focus on BPOs that need to hire additional workers. After the applicants have sent their resume they will wait for a call from the companies and wait for instruction to conduct an online interview. They will expect a call to schedule the second testing and there will be pre-screening then final interview,” Peso head Gab Umadhay said.
