Active cases in Cagayan de Oro drop to 196

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office reported on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, nine new cases of coronavirus disease-2019 (Covid-19).

The relatively lower cases brought the number of active Covid cases down to 196, 45 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 150 were outpatients, and one returning overseas Filipino/locally stranded individual.

Of the nine new confirmed cases, four were local index cases, four were close contact of previously confirmed cases, and one mortality.

The new local cases brought the cumulative number of infections in the city to 20,395.

Cagayan de Oro also registered 14 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,350.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains at 849.
