Cebu Ayer’s Lechon opens in Il Corso

QUARANTINE fatigue is for real and because of this, outdoor dining has gained popularity in the past few months. Plus, alfresco dining is said to be safer than indoor dining but it is still important to keep in mind that any place still poses risks.

After the success of the opening of its 11th and 12th branches in the highland areas specifically in Busay and Babag Dos, Cebu’s Ayers Lechon opens another alfresco restaurant setting, and this time with a sea view, at Il Corso Mall, Cebu City South Road Properties.

“Opening in these locations allows us to provide al fresco dining to Cebuanos who want to eat and enjoy our tender, juicy and crispy authentic lechon. We follow the traditional Cebuano way of cooking with unique roasting technique, using simple ingredients,” said general manager Mandy Carlos.

The newly opened restaurant features a modern-Filipino interior using native materials such as light wood and abaca and its signature red chairs that complement the scenic view. The new branch can accommodate 40 people in compliance with public health restrictions.

Rep. Sonny Lagon of Ako Bisaya and Gen. Nolasco Bathan graced the event.

Aside from its traditional Cebuano lechon for solo and group orders, Cebu Ayer’s Lechon Il Corso also serves Filipino favorites such as lechon paksiw, lomi with lechon toppings, pork barbecue and spicy belly, among others.

Cebu Ayer’s Lechon Il Corso is open from 3 to 10 p.m. daily. One may also pre-order a whole lechon and pick it up at this branch
