THE City Health Office reported on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, only five new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
The relatively lower cases brought the number of active Covid cases down to 156, 31 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 125 were outpatients.
All of the five new confirmed cases are local cases with link, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 20,418.
Cagayan de Oro also registered only one new coronavirus-positive person who was now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,412.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains at 850.
