Bacolorena is outstanding rural women runner-up

AGRI-ENTREPRENEUR Anette C. Patdu of Bacolor was hailed as the first runner-up in the 2021 Outstanding Rural Women with the theme, “Gawad Parangal sa Katangi-tanging Kababaihan sa Pagsasaka at Pangingisda sa Kanayunan.”

The awarding was held on December 3 at the BSWM Convention Hall, Elliptical Road in Diliman, Quezon City.

Patdu’s dream is to influence and motivate other women to explore agri-related business opportunities especially in the field of food production and processing to achieve a food-secure and resilient Philippines.

“There is no perfect world like what my daughter has written. What is important is the effort to make things work, especially the little details. It is the most opportune time to leverage on the brilliance of women, especially in the agriculture sector,” Patdu stated.

The 2021 Outstanding Rural Women aims to recognize the rural women who have shown excellence in contributing to their community and made a significant impact on the lives of the people in their community.
