Over P100,000 cash prizes up for vaccinated Candabeños

NEARLY P200,000 cash and in-kind prizes await residents of Candaba town, Pampanga who received at least the first dose of vaccine by Christmas Day.

Mayor Rene Maglanque announced that the local government will be raffling off cash prizes and Media Noche packages on December 28 to all vaccinated Candabeños.

Three winners of grand prizes totaling P110,000 will be chosen during the raffle draw, of which one will receive P30,000 cash for first prize, another P20,000 cash for second prize, and another P10,000 cash for third prize.

Also, 50 winners will receive a P1,000 consolation prize and another 50 winners will get a Media Noche package.

Maglanque said the program, dubbed "Bakunado Panalo," aims to encourage more residents here to get themselves protected against Covid-19 through vaccination.

"Hinihikayat natin ang mga kababayan natin na humabol pa at magpabakuna dahil kahit first dose lang, kasali ka. Ibig sabihin, protektado ka na, may chance ka pang manalo," the mayor said.

(We encourage our constituents to catch up and get vaccinated because even if it's just the first dose, you are included in the raffle. That is, you are protected, you have a chance to win.)

Vaccinated individuals must drop their copy of validated vaccination cards at the boxes found in the town's Municipal Health Office, Bahay Pare Health Center and Salapungan Health Center to be included in the raffle draw.

The deadline for submission of entries is December 25 and the draw date will be on December 28 and will be broadcast via Facebook Live.
