Over 58,000 children 12-17 years old vaccinated in Oro

A TOTAL of 58,582 children aged 12 to 17 in Cagayan de Oro have already received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines, the City Health Office reported Monday, December 6, 2021.

According to City Health Office medical officer Dr. Ted Yu, of the 58,582 vaccinated minors in Cagayan de Oro, 8,380 are fully vaccinated and 50,202 have already received their first dose.

Yu said the number of children in the city who have already pre-registered in the vaccination rollout is 51,422. Of the figure, 2,190 are children with comorbidities.

As of December 6, 847,071 individuals in Cagayan de Oro have already received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines. Of the figure, 519,573 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 325,888 were fully vaccinated.

Among the 847,071 vaccinees, 61,996 were frontline healthcare workers, 77,460 were senior citizens, 139,354 were persons with comorbidities, 356,183 were essential frontline workers, 42,596 were from the A5 priority group, 110,900 were from the ROAP priority group, and 58,582 were from pedia A3 and ROPP priority groups.
