THE Balay Pagla-um Christmas Village is back, a day after a fire incident on December 3, 2021.

Families and friends again visited the Christmas village mounted along La Salle Avenue in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Part of the Christmas village was recently damaged by accidental fire due to its exposure to varying weather conditions that impacted its electrical wirings.

The giant Christmas tree was ablaze. But emergency responders immediately contained the flame.

The following day, the giant Christmas tree was restored and was flickering gaily again.

Santa Claus was spotted greeting families and friends coming to the Christmas village on the weekend.

A weekend before the fire incident, Santa Claus had gifts given to children who came to the Christmas village.

The Christmas village serves as the venue for the "Pamaskwa sa Banwa," which commenced on December 1, where every weekend, Santa Claus will give gifts to children who come to the Christmas village.

Vaughn, a student who has an online class, donned an Angel costume and went to the Christmas Village with his parents and documented his vlog as his assignment in his online class.

His parents said that it is nice that there is a Christmas Village near them as it helped his son comply with his assignment.

The Christmas Village is located on a roadside fronting the house.

On the other hand, Albee Benitez, Bacolod mayoral candidate who initiated the Christmas village urged everyone to continue strengthening love and unity during the pandemic.

The Christmas Village can stimulate people's love for Christmas and its joyful happenings.

The Christmas Village had a backdrop of the landmarks of Bacolod, such as the San Sebastian Cathedral, the public plaza, giant and small Christmas trees, huge Christmas gifts, angels with their trumpets, Santa Claus and his reindeers and the Christmas lights that are spread all over the Christmas village.

There are long chairs available at the Christmas village to sit down while enjoying the photo opportunities with family and friends.
