Ang Panaghiusa Party nitanyag ngadto kang kanhi Cebu City administrator Floro Casas Jr. aron himuong chairman sa partido human nitaliwan si Mayor Edgardo Labella.
Kini ang gitug-an ni Atty. Jose Daluz III, presidente sa Panaghiusa Party, sanglit nabakante ang pwesto nga kanhi giukopahan ni Labella, kinsa chairman emeritus taliwa sa iyang pagtaliwan niadtong Nobiyembre 19, 2021.
Matod sa kanhi Cebu City councilor nga gidawat sa kanhi trusted lieutenant ni Labella ang hagit nga magsilbing chairman sa local party nga pormal nga i-induct karong buwana.
“In principle, we have already offered the seat to Atty. Jun Casas and he has accepted the challenge to be our chairman in Panaghiusa party,” pagpahibawo ni Daluz.
Si Casas nagpasalamat kang Daluz gumikan sa pagsalig ug kumpyansa.
“It will be a big shoes to fill as I am following the footstep of Mayor Edgar Labella to lead Panaghiusa Party as their chairman. But I like the challenge as our mayor did before when we were still campaigning for him to be the mayor of Cebu City over three years ago,” padayag ni Casas.
Gipahibawo usab ni Daluz nga ang ilang partido mosuporta sa kandidatura ni Mayor Isko Moreno sa pagka-presidente ug Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-carpio sa pagka-bise presidente sa piniliay karong Mayo 9, 2022.
