THE cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro has reached 20,426 after only two more residents tested positive for the virus.
According to the City Health Office, the two new local index cases are a 56-year-old female and a 50-year-old male. Both of them are unvaccinated.
Cagayan de Oro now has 117 active cases, 16 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city and 101 were outpatients.
The city also registered only one new recovery. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,458.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains at 851.
