A MAN was killed in an ambush around 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, along AC Cortes Street in Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City.
The victim, who was driving a Suzuki sedan, was identified through his passport as Ervin Dunhill Inocando, 27, of Valladolid, Carcar City.
Based on CCTV footage, Inocando was navigating the corner of AC Cortes when two motorcycle-riding men started shooting at the driver's side of Inocando's vehicle.
Inocando was still able to get out of his car and run about 30 meters before he fell down and died due to the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
He was in jail in 2018 on illegal drug charges. He was a resident of Sibonga town in southern Cebu. (GPL)
