A TOTAL of 954 police personnel in Eastern Visayas took their oath following their promotion to the next higher rank on Monday, December 13, 2021.
“As what I have continually conveyed, the purpose of having this promotion is to recognize your contributions in the organization by providing you more opportunities for career development,” Brigadier General Rommel Bernardo Cabagnot, police regional director, told the officers during the ceremony at Camp Ruperto Kangleon in Palo, Leyte.
“The best way that you can that you show your gratitude for this breakthrough is to continually perform your job with utmost efficiency and integrity,” the police official added during the nationwide simultaneous oath-taking and donning of ranks.
Of those promoted, 273 were elevated to Corporal, 143 to Staff Sgt., 146 to Master Sgt., 227 to Senior Master Sgt., 59 to Chief Master Sgt., 71 to Executive Master Sgt., two to Lieutenant, nine to Captain, 19 to Major, four Lieutenant Colonel and one to Colonel. (Sunstar Philippines)
