THE Zamboanga City Government kicked off Monday, January 3, the Business One Stop Shop (Boss) system to process business permit applications for the year 2022.
City Licensing Officer Benjie Barredo said the Boss Operation hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays at the Centro Latino in Paseo del Mar. It will run from January 3 to 20, 2022.
The documentary requirements for renewal of business permits include business application form, which can be downloaded at www.zamboangacity.gov.ph; proof of sales that can be any of the following: income tax returns (ITR), financial statement, percentage/ VAT returns and previous assessment details from the City Treasurer's Office.
For new applications, the requirements include business application form, Department of Trade and Industry, Securities and Exchange Commission and Cooperative Development Authority registration, occupancy permit, and barangay clearance for business purpose.
Barredo advised the applicant to enclose all documentary requirements in a long brown envelope and print the full name and contact details of the permittee at the back.
"This envelope should be submitted to the BOSS front-liner located at Centro Latino in Paseo del Mar," Barredo added.
He said that all applicants will be notified when the assessment details are ready for pick-up, and for the same to pay and later claim the business permit. (SunStar Zamboanga)
