Kids of delivery service riders, maintenance staff get 'Bears of Joy'

CHILDREN of delivery service riders and maintenance staff recently received toy plushies from SM Olongapo malls.

The sons and daughters of delivery service riders, such as OrderMo and Groover (for SM City Olongapo Central), and sons and daughters of SM agency personnel like service maintenance, janitorial and security guards (for SM City Olongapo Downtown) received "Bears of Joy" as part of SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom's annual campaign.

The annual campaign encourages shoppers to share the joy of the holiday season with less fortunate children.

For only P250, a customer can buy a pair of toy bears, where one goes to the customer and the other is left for donation to charity.

Each year, more and more children are experiencing the joy of having a teddy bear. Teddy bears are said to be kids’ first best friend during their childhood. It is the first toy that teaches a child how to stay happy in every situation.

This year's collection features designs inspired by four of the most common interests and hobbies that many Filipinos had indulged in during the pandemic. They are Cookie the Baker Bear, Sunny the Plant Lover Bear, Cammy the Vlogger Bear, and Journey the Biker Bear.

Through the kindness of shoppers, friends and employees the SM Bears of Joy campaign continues to give joy to underprivileged kids.
