THE Bakuna by the Sea gets another much-needed sequel as Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao will open its doors for Bakuna Booster by the Sea starting Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
The Bakuna Booster by the Sea aims to give booster Covid-19 vaccine shots to tourism and allied sector industry workers in Davao City, amid the present surge of Covid-19 cases and the presence of the Omicron variant in the country.
The vaccination drive is organized by the Waterfront Insular Hotel, the City Government of Davao, and the Davao Tourism Association (Data) composed of different tourism industry stakeholders in the city.
Gatchi Gatchalian, president of the Davao Tourism Association, said they will also be opening the booster shots to members of the Davao City media which were also recipients of the vaccination program during the Bakuna by the Sea held last year.
Around 200 media practitioners were vaccinated at the Waterfront vaccination site.
For those wanting to get their booster at the Bakuna Booster by the Sea, they must bring the following:
1. Any Government ID
2. Vaccination Card indicating that they had completed the two doses
3. Safe Davao QR Code
4. Their own ballpen
The schedule for Bakuna Booster by the Sea will be from January 12-16 and January 19-23. This will be a first come first serve basis, walk-ins are allowed. Vaccinees must comply with minimum health protocol standards at all times.
The highly successful Bakuna by the Sea was able to vaccinate 16,045 people coming from the tourism and allied industries. It also won acclaim as it got the 3rd place award for best tourism practice in the 2021 Pearl Awards organized by the Association of Tourism Officers in the Philippines. (PIA-Davao)
