CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno said the City Government will not modify or impose additional restrictions in the city other than what is indicated in the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) guidelines.

This, after the IATF placed Cagayan de Oro under Alert Level 3 from January 14 to 31 2022.

Moreno said the city will not require RT-PCR test results for interzonal and intrazonal travel.

He also said that there will be no adjustment of curfew period despite the city being placed under Alert Level 3.

"Maintain lang nato ang atong curfew. I hope dili na nato istriktohan kay di sad ko ganahan na istriktohan nato," Moreno said during the daily press briefing in the city hall on Thursday, January 13.

"Ang importante diha naa ra sa atong kaugalingon huna-huna ug behavior. I hope dili ta maghulat sa gobyerno nga istriktohan pa ang curfew ayha ta motoo," he added.

Under Alert Level 3 activities such as face-to-face classes, contact sports, sun fairs, karaoke bars, clubs, concert halls, theaters, casinos, horse racing, cockfighting, and social gatherings of individuals who do not belong to the same household, among others are prohibited.
