SOME 31 Covid-19 patients in the Angeles City have recovered recently from the virus, the City Government stated.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. said 18 patients recovered from the virus based on the January 15, 2022 update of the local government unit (LGU).
On January 14, the city recorded nine recovered patients. Four patients recovered from the virus on January 12.
The total number of active Covid-19 cases in the city climbed to 656 since the resurgence of the virus more than two weeks ago.
The LGU also reported a decrease in the number of new coronavirus cases -- 98 cases on January 14 and 75 cases on January 15.
The City Government also recorded three Covid-19 fatalities since January 1.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city since the start of the pandemic was recorded at 13,239.
Of this figure, 12,064 patients had recovered from the virus, as of January 15.
The total number of Covid-19-related deaths in the city reached 519, as of Saturday.
