A FIRE broke out on R. Aboitiz Street, Barangay Kamputhaw, in uptown Cebu City on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022.
SFO1 Riza Julve of the Cebu City Fire Department said the fire started in a room occupied by Crisanto Amodia. Damage was estimated at P108,000.
Julve said they received the alarm at 12:04 yesterday noon regarding the fire that struck the house owned by Crisanto's mother, Evelyn Amodia.
The fire was placed under control 12:10 noon.
Nobody was reported injured by the fire that was put out immediately.
The fire department is now determining the cause of the fire. It was learned that somebody was doing welding job in the area when the fire occurred. (BBT, TPT)
