ASPIRING Municipal Council member Rene Maglanque Jr. provided assistance to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients in Candaba town in Pampanga.

Maglanque, son of Mayor Rene Maglanque, distributed food packs containing rice, canned goods, instant noodles, coffee and biscuits to families whose members contracted the virus.

Maglanque said he initiated the food assistance program immediately after he finished his quarantine period, as he was exposed to his father who recently tested positive for coronavirus.

He said the program is his way of boosting the morale of Covid-19 patients, especially those experiencing the various symptoms of the disease.
