SEC Bacolod suspends over-the-counter payment

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Bacolod Extension Office has temporarily stopped accepting over-the-counter payments from January 18 to January 20 amid the rising coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases and exposures among its personnel.

The transacting public under the jurisdiction of the SEC Bacolod Extension Office was advised to avail themselves of online and cashless payment options through the SEC Electronic System for Payment to the SEC (eSPAYSEC), which may be accessed at https://espaysec.sec.gov.ph/.

Clients were also advised to email first SEC Bacolod so that the payment assessment form will be sent to them before proceeding with payment.

All other services will be available onsite.

The public, however, is highly encouraged to transact with the commission through its online portals, email and other remote means when and where possible.

Clients requesting for certifications and certified true copies and/or plain copies will have to email SEC Bacolod and wait for notice once the requested documents are ready for pick-up.

For queries and other concerns, contact the SEC Bacolod Extension Office through email at sec.bcdextension@gmail.com, secbacolod2018@gmail.com, or ostreports_bacolod@sec.gov.ph or through phone at (034) 445-5714, (034) 445-5713, 0961-603-5772 or 0905-568-8256.

The public has been encouraged to monitor the Commission's website at www.sec.gov.ph and official Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PhilippineSEC, as well as download the SEC Check App on Google Play Store, for updates. (PR)
