PAMPANGA Governor Dennis Pineda inspected on Friday, January 21, the building that will be used as the Renal Care and Dialysis Center of the Provincial Government at the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Provincial Hospital in Guagua town.
At the request of Vice Governor Lilia Pineda and board members, the Department of Public Works and Highways built the building facility with the funds of Anakalusugan Party List Representative Michael Defensor.
Pineda said the building is ready for turnover.
The governor promised to install 43 hemodialysis machines for the facility.
“Malambat na ne pong paninap Nanay ing atin tamu dialysis centers bang mas dakal ta asopan a kabalen tamu,” Pineda said.
(It has long been a dream of Nanay to have dialysis centers so we can help more kabalens.)
The province is also set to build three more dialysis and renal centers in the first, third and fourth districts to bring renal care services closer to Kapampangans.
In 2021, the Capitol helped more than 1,500 dialysis patients who have already completed PhilHealth-sponsored dialysis sessions and health care benefits.
