THE Pampanga Provincial Capitol headed by Governor Dennis Pineda has ordered the distribution of homecare medicine kits to help those with Covid-19 symptoms recover.

The free medicines distributed to all barangay health centers, rural health units and district hospitals have a total of 15,000 kits for children and also 15,000 for the elderly.

With the help of Dr. Paul Baltazar, pediatrician at Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) and Dr. Isser Sugay, pulmonologist, the Pampanga Provincial Government has re-implemented the program for the distribution of appropriate medicine with a detailed prescription.

Last year, Pineda launched the "Gamot para sa Barangay" program to provide first aid to individuals with Covid-19 symptoms, as he ordered the immediate release of medicines to various barangays of the province.

The program aims to provide first aid to Kabalens with coronavirus symptoms while awaiting evaluation by health professionals or hospital admission.
