THE number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon rose up to more than 30,000 as of Friday, January 21, 2022.
On the case bulletin issued by the Department of Health (DOH)-Central Luzon, the total number of active cases in Central Luzon was at 31,154.
On Friday alone, January 21, the seven provinces in the region logged a cumulative 4,402 new cases of Covid-19.
Meanwhile, from active Covid-19 cases in the region, 95 percent were only experiencing mild symptoms of the disease.
Only 0.3 percent was in severe condition, 0.1 percent in critical condition, while 1.5 percent had moderate symptoms, and 2.5 percent were asymptomatic.
