THE Valladolid Municipal Police and Talisay City Police Stations were recently named best performers for 2021 by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noccpo).

The police stations were evaluated on their administrative and operational performance, a report from Noccpo said, adding that the Pulupandan Municipal Police and Silay City Police Stations were both in second place.

Major Wilfredo Benoman, chief of Valladolid Municipal Police Station, expressed his gratitude to former Noccpo Director Colonel Romeo Palgue and to his successor Colonel Leo Pamittan for their guidance.

Benonaman recognized the efforts of his former deputy chief, Lieutenant Kirby Talaban, and the new deputy of the town, Lieutenant Bonifacio Galvez.

He also said the success of their police station happened because of the cooperation and support of Mayor Enrique Miravelles and other town officials.

For his part, acting Talisay City police chief Major Jigger Gimeno expressed his gratitude to his policemen and women for tirelessly performing their duties.

Gimeno said the force multipliers and Mayor Nilo Jesus Antonio Lizares III also played vital roles in this achievement.
