Visayan Electric restores power at 86.04% on January 25

ONLY 66,186 customers of Visayan Electric Company still had no electricity as of 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

This constitutes 13.95 percent of the power distributor's 474,182 affected customers.

Visayan Electric reported that it restored power supply to 86.04 percent or 407,996 customers on Tuesday.

The reenergized areas are in Visayan Electric's franchise area that comprises cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay and Naga, and the municipalities of San Fernando, Minglanilla, Consolacion and Liloan.

Visayan Electric had promised to restore power to 100 percent of its affected customers by January 31.

In an earlier report, Visayan Electric's reputation manager Quennie Bronce said they are confident that they can meet their target.
