Daily Covid-19 cases in Mabalacat City decrease

THE number of new daily active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Mabalacat City is decreasing as of January 23, 2022.

This is based on the Mabalacat City Covid-19 Updates the City Government posted on Facebook.

From 83 new active cases on January 21, there was a slight decrease on January 22, with 62 new active cases. On January 23, the local government recorded 59 new active cases and on January 24, it logged 32 new active cases.

The local Covid-19 task force also recorded 69 new recoveries on January 24, 2022.

On January 23, 64 recoveries were logged, while there were 87 on January 22.

The active cases in the city stood at 413.

The City Government recorded no Covid-19 deaths since the start of 2022.

From December 5, 2021 to December 30, the local government recorded zero cases of Covid-19.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city has climbed to 8,256. Of these figure, 7,614 have recovered.

A total of 229 residents in Mabalacat had died from the disease, said the City Government.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo reminded his constituents to always observe health protocols to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

He also asked the residents to pray for the city and the patients who are still suffering from the disease.
