THE total number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga is now at 1,319, with 624 new recorded infections on Monday, January 24, 2022.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker showed that Pampanga already has a total of 83,037 cases, with 74,005 recoveries. Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached 1,763 cases.
Pampanga has reported 7,284 cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported 1,797 cases for the same period.
Fifteen people have died from the disease in the last 14-days.
Majority of the 47 health facilities in the province are now experiencing an increase in the number of bed occupancies.
The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 38.1 percent, slightly lower than in previous days. This means that only 839 of the total 1,356 hospital beds in Pampanga are currently available.
Three health facilities are currently in high risk level. The province currently has two health facilities in the critical category.
