THE City Government of San Fernando, through the City Health Office, has put up Covid-19 vaccination sites in several barangays for easy access of recipients and to decongest the City’s major inoculation sites.
Initially, the barangay-based vaccination will be from January 24 to January 28 in covered courts, barangay health centers, and other public areas.
Only first doses and booster shots will be given in the barangays while second doses will still be administered at the City’s “mega vaccination sites” at Heroes Hall, Our Lady of Fatima University, Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, SM City Telabastagan, and Waltermart.
As of Wednesday, January 26, 241,642 Fernandinos were given at least a dose, while 214,874 others were fully vaccinated. The target eligible population is at 242,102.
Those who received booster shots totaled 26,123 individuals.
Fernandinos are advised to follow guidelines on barangay vaccination posted on this link: https://www.facebook.com/.../a.20521799.../1880375518812725/ (PR)
