375 new Covid cases logged in Pampanga

SOME 375 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded in Pampanga on January 26, 2022, data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed.

This brought the total number of active cases in Pampanga to 6,585 cases. At least 76 of the new active cases are from Angeles City, while 506 are from different cities and towns of the province.

In the City of San Fernando alone, 91 new cases were recorded on Wednesday.

The total active cases in the city have reached 1,579, as of Thursday, January 27.

All of the capital city’s barangays have registered active cases.

Magalang also reported 12 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total active cases in the town to 112. Bacolor also recorded nine new cases, bringing its total active cases to 67.

In Santa Rita town, three new cases were added to its active cases tally, bringing the total to 41.

Total confirmed cases in the province now stand at 84,230 since the start of the pandemic. Of these cases, 75,870 have recovered, while the death toll stood at 1,775.

Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate among its 46 health facilities is now at 32.2 percent.
