NEARLY one million individuals from Central Luzon have already received their booster doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
This was based on the data released by the Department of Health that showed a total of 977,862 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines were already administered in the region, as of Wednesday, January 26.
The booster dose is administered to individuals at least three months after the second dose of a primary two-dose vaccine, or at least two months after the primary single-dose vaccine was given.
On the same DOH data, it showed that Central Luzon has the third-highest number of recipients of booster doses in the country.
It came after National Capital Region with 2,259,257 doses and Calabarzon with 1,140,423 doses.
