AROUND half a kilo of “illegal drugs” were seized in a buy-bust operation launched by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga and Mabalacat City police.
The “illegal drugs” were recovered from a suspect identified as Dennis Balaba, 45, a resident of Mabalacat City.
A total of five plastic sachets of substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated value of P3.4 million were confiscated from the suspect.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against Balaba.
