KINGDOM of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy on Tuesday, February 1, predicted a "landslide victory" for Davao City Mayor and vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte-Carpio and the latter's running mate, presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., in the upcoming national elections.

Quiboloy, a long-time friend and ally of Duterte-Carpio's father -- President Rodrigo Duterte, led the prayer over to the presidential daughter during the send-off ceremony for her nationwide caravan dubbed as "Mahalin Natin Ang Pilipinas Ride" in Davao City on Tuesday morning, February 1.

The send-off was done at the compound of Quiboloy’s church along the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway in the city.

In a press release from Duterte-Carpio's party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), Quiboloy officially endorsed the tandem of Marcos and Duterte-Carpio.

"It will be a landslide victory for Sara Duterte and Bongbong Marcos," Quiboloy said.

Now is the right time to let you know of my support. I am one hundred percent supporting the Uniteam. I am sending my love to our beloved Mayor in Davao City who is running for Vice President).”

Uniteam is the name of the alliance between Marcos and Duterte-Carpio.

Present during the send-off were senatoriables Jinggoy Estrada and Harry Roque, both riding their motorcycles with the mayor.

Meanwhile, Duterte-Carpio said in a radio interview on Monday, January 31, that the ride caravan advocates "patriotism" among Filipinos.

The mayor said the ride will be open to all interested motorists.

The first nationwide ride kicked off from Davao City to Bislig, Surigao del Sur.

She said it will be a one-month ride, wherein the last stop will be on February 28 from Davao City to Cotabato Province.
