SOME 214 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Pampanga on Friday, February 4, 2022, according to the latest data from the coronavrus tracker of the Department of Health.
This brought the total number of active cases in Pampanga to 3,201. At least 34 of the new active cases were from Angeles City while 180 were from different cities and towns of the province.
In the City of San Fernando alone, some 30 new cases were recorded on Friday. Total active cases in the city also reached some 592. All of the capital city’s barangays registered active coronavirus cases.
Magalang town also reported 12 coronavirus cases on Thursday, February 3, bringing the total active cases in the town to 65. Bacolor town also recorded two new confirmed cases, bringing its total active cases to 58.
Total confirmed cases in the province stood at 86,754 since the start of the pandemic. Some 81,747 of these confirmed cases have recovered.
Deaths from the virus since the start of the pandemic stood at 1,806 cases.
Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate among its 45 health facilities was at 24.6 percent.
