SIX examinees from Cebu Doctors’ University made it to the top 10 of the February 2022 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.

John Fredrick Decierdo Tabañag placed first with a rating of 89.25 percent.

Johanna Jade Diaz Young placed fourth (86 percent rating); Vincent Jofette Aguanta Aventuna, fifth (85.75 percent); James Vince Mc Douglas Maloloy-on Esmas, sixth (85.25 percent); Kyle Lorenzo Lozada Nemil, eighth (84.75 percent); and Roxanne Eve Cesa Tuason, 10th (84 percent).

The PRC said less than half, or just 194 of 397 examinees passed the licensure exam given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Pampanga, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga last Feb. 3 and 4.

Others who made it to the top 10 were Shekinah Maraiah Hendrika Redulla Moreno of Perpetual Help College of Manila, second place; Azza Majuk Sajaud of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, third place; Maria Victoria Navalta Abasola of Lorma College, fourth place; and Adzmir Asari Hussein of New Era University and Stephen Jhonn Buenaventura Padon of Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela, fifth place.

The rest of the placers were Shaira Sabiran Abdurajak of Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela and James Michael Delara Pacia of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, seventh place; Joy Mirabona Cimanes of Mary Chiles College (for General Hospital School of Nursing and Midwifery), ninth place; and Abdullah Landasan Lal Mohammad of Lorma College, 10th place.

The oath taking will be held online on March 1, 2022 through Microsoft Teams or Zoom, the PRC also said Tuesday on its website.

Online registration for the virtual oath taking will close five days before the virtual oath taking.
