A CARING mother to Kevin, Karylle and Chelsea, and a doting wife to her husband Charles, Genevieve Te, first and foremost, is an avid fashionista.
Known by her friends and family as a lover of fashion and clothes since she was young, Gen might as well be nicknamed as "style queen" because of her unique and trendy fashion.
Gen, like other inspiring individuals, is a lover of beauty, food, and travel and enjoys the thrill of adventure when visiting foreign places, and trying new cuisines, but nothing beats fashion as Gen’s passion.
Charles Te II, Gen’s husband, shares that if Gen had to choose, Gen would pick fashion as her main passion and source of creativity.
“Kung food or fashion, mas piliin niya siguro ang fashion,” Charles fondly said.
Gen has spent her years curating her style identity, and along the way, has discovered her calling to marry business and fashion.
As a successful businesswoman today, Gen has managed her own clothing store since 2007. Her current boutique, Femme, located at Ayala Abreeza Mall, is a trendy clothes haven.
For Charles, Gen is an adventurous, fun-loving woman who was introduced to him by his classmate and Gen’s cousin, in their early twenties. Since then, Charles and Gen have shared countless experiences together, including the adventure of marriage.
Now that Gen and Charles share three kids together, Gen has become a devoted mom who often stays up all night to take care of their bunso, Chelsea, who is two years old. She also loves to make “lambing” to her binata and dalaga: 15-year-old Kevin and 12-year-old Karylle.
“She takes good care of the children,” her partner said.
Although not the most showy person, Gen’s husband and family can attest that she expresses her love in many other ways. “Parang galit siya pero pinapakita niya na love ka pa rin niya,” said Charles. “Yun yung style niya sa lahat, sa parents niya, sa akin, sa kids.”
As she turns 40, Gen celebrates her birthday in an intimate gathering with a fashionable “tea party” theme where her closest loved ones can show off their headpieces and beautiful outfits - but of course, the celebrator is the most elegant of them all.
