LAWMEN arrested three people and seized some P102,000 worth of illegal drugs as they dismantled a drug den in Ipil, the capital town of Zamboanga Sibugay province.
Police Colonel Albert Larubis, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Wowie Galvez Tondo, 25; Herald Bechayda Vega, 19; and Daniel Emit Gonzales, 24, a high-value individual.
Larubis said the three suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation around 4:05 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, in Purok Sampaguita B in Don Andres village, Ipil.
He said recovered from the drug den were some 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, several illegal drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone, and P500 marked money.
He said the anti-drug operation was launched following surveillance on the activities of the suspects.
Larubis said the suspects were detained while formal charges are set to be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
