70 new coronavirus cases logged in Pampanga

ONLY 70 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded on Friday, February 11, 2022, bringing the total number of active coronavirus cases in Pampanga to 1,720.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker placed that total number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 87,411 cases, with 83,870 recoveries.

Covid-19-related deaths in Pampanga reached some 1,444 cases, according to the DOH.

Pampanga also reported some 1,522 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported some 389 cases for the same period.

Some 25 people died due to complications from Covid-19 in the last 14-days.

Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province were also experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies. The rate of occupancy in Central Luzon was at 16.8 percent, the lowest yet since the Omicron variant surge. This meant that only 1,112 of the total 1,336 hospital beds in Pampanga were available.

Some 44 health facilities in Pampanga were also at a safe level with the ongoing decrease in cases.
