THE local government unit in Mabalacat City, Pampanga has started vaccinating children belonging to poor families.
The city's Covid-19 Pediatric Vaccination Program for kids ages 5 to 11 was launched at SM City Clark Thursday, February 17, 2022.
Mayor Cris Garbo said they decided to prioritize children from families that are below the poverty line.
Dr. Jay Rivera, head of the city's Covid-19 Response Center, said the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will assist the inoculation of kids.
Garbo urged parents to register their kids in the pediatric vaccination program of the City Government.
The mayor thanked SM City Clark for accommodating the City Government's inoculation drive.
